Kandace De Young is a passionate Lower Elementary Assistant at Oak Knoll Montessori School, armed with a rich background in history and education. Her academic voyage began at the University of California, Santa Barbara, culminating in a History degree in 2020. Kandace's pursuit of knowledge led her to the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, for a study abroad stint that deepened her appreciation for global cultures.
Continuing her educational quest, Kandace earned her Master's Degree in Education, with a focus on Human Development, from the University of La Verne in 2022. She's driven by the belief that education can transform lives within diverse settings and is dedicated to positively impacting her students and their families.
When not shaping young minds, Kandace finds solace in nature, volunteers at animal rescues, and values time with loved ones. Her multifaceted interests underscore her commitment to growth and community service, making her a cherished member of the Oak Knoll Montessori School team.
