Korina Navarro

Director of Operations

Korina holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, complemented by an Associate's degree in Psychology and a certificate in Early Childhood Education from UCLA Extension. Her educational achievements reflect her profound dedication to both learning and teaching.

During her time at Pepperdine, Korina participated in two global initiatives focused on social entrepreneurship in South Africa and later served as a business consultant in Kigali, Rwanda. These experiences allowed her to apply her business and management skills in real-world settings, broaden her perspective on global issues, and enhance her ability to contribute positively to society.

In 1999, Korina embarked on her teaching career in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, where she taught English as a second language at the primary level. It was during this period that she encountered the Montessori method of teaching, which rapidly became her passion.

For the past 14 years, Korina has been a vital part of Oak Knoll Montessori School, taking on various roles. In each of these roles, she has demonstrated her unwavering dedication to creating an environment where children can thrive and grow.

Korina's blend of business skills, psychological understanding, educational knowledge, and social entrepreneurship experience significantly enriches the Oak Knoll team.
